Fort Worth Symphony

Wow! I'm very happy to announce that I have been offered the position of Principal Trombonist of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra! Excitement doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about my next year with them. I just hope I can keep up with all of the fine musicians in the group!

Unfortunately, with that excitement comes a bit of trepidation. If you don't know, negotiations between the Dallas AFM union chapter and the management of the symphony are still not going very well. I, and the rest of the symphony musicians and our supporters in the area are hoping for a resolution soon. If you want to help, like the union page on facebook and share it with your friends! The more visible and vocal supporters we have, the easier it will be to resolve the tensions between the two parties, and the sooner everyone can rest easy and focus on the purpose of the Symphony: making excellent music.
